NEW DRAMA
All Creatures Great and Small Friday, 9pm, Channel 5
As Christmas 1939 arrives in the festive special of Channel 5’s All Creatures Great and Small, the wind of change is blowing through Darrowby.
The episode finds the vets concerned about their futures now that World War Two has broken out in Europe, and James (Nicholas Ralph) and Tristan (Callum Woodhouse) are still torn as to whether they should do their bit at home or head off to the front.
‘War is becoming even more apparent,’ says Ralph. ‘Everyone is thinking about what they should or shouldn’t do and we see the characters under duress.’
