NEW THRILLER
Coma
Monday-Thursday, 9pm, Channel 5
The dark consequences of a split-second decision ripple menacingly through Channel 5's tense four-part thriller Coma, which features a stellar cast including Jason Watkins, Claire Skinner and After the Flood's Jonas Armstrong.
Watkins stars as ordinary family man Simon Bamford, who's juggling the pressures of redundancy and a hike in mortgage repayments, while being terrorised by a gang of tearaway teens intent on causing trouble in his neighbourhood.
Simon and his wife, Beth (Skinner), are desperate to move to a safer area for the sake of their daughter, Sophie. But a doorstep confrontation with gang ringleader Jordan Franklin (Joe Barber) ends in horror when Simon snaps and lands a punch that leaves the 17-year-old fighting for his life.
