C4’s star-studded drama Truelove takes a wry but emotional look at the challenges of ageing through the eyes of septuagenarians.
Airing early next year, the six-part series centres on ex-police chief Phil, played by Lindsay Duncan, who is dissatisfied with her dull retirement and still feels a connection to her one-time teenage sweetheart Ken (Clarke Peters), a divorced former special-forces operative.
