Brace yourself for more explosive showdowns and high-speed chases as brooding Commissaris Piet Van Der Valk is back on the beat in Amsterdam to tackle grisly crimes in the worlds of philosophy, the diamond industry and classical music.
ITV’s revival of detective drama Van Der Valk, which originally ran for five series between 1972 and 1992 and starred Barry Foster as the titular character, proved a hit with viewers when it made its debut in April 2020 with new leading man Marc Warren.
During a break in filming the second season in Amsterdam, Marc, 55, joined TV Times via video to share his case notes on the three new feature-length stories…
Filming for this series was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. How did it feel when you reprised your role as Piet Van Der Valk?

We hear love could be on the cards for Piet this time…
