There’s fun and adventure, but also soul-searching, for former TOWIE star Mark Wright, his dad, Mark Sr, and younger brother, Josh, in BBC1’s new travel series A Wright Family Holiday.

Over six episodes, the Essex trio visit holiday hotspots around Britain including Snowdonia, Cornwall and the Peak District, and take part in a number of heart-pounding activities such as bungee jumping, skydiving and big-wave surfing. Meanwhile, in quieter moments, the three open up about relationships, ageing, illness, grief and Mark’s fear of losing everything he’s ever strived for.

Here, Mark, 36, who is married to Ten Pound Poms star Michelle Keegan, tells TV Times how the trip has made the family closer…
