Crippled with debt and not wanting to disappoint Kathy (again), he decides this week to solve his woes by torching her beloved cafe and claiming on the insurance. Honestly, there’s more brain cells in Sonia’s trumpet.

At first, the cash-strapped chancer has a very different plan. Having taken out a loan with nasty Nish that he can’t afford to pay back, he agrees to settle the debt by stealing a motor from the car lot.

But his conscience kicks in after a chat with Jay. Not wanting to put any more stress on the grieving widower, he backs out and resolves to tell his missus everything.
