When troubled Lorna Brady finds a body in her home in the BBC1 thriller The Woman in the Wall, it sets off a cataclysmic chain of events that exposes long-held secrets.
The six-parter is set in 2015 in the fictional Irish town of Kilkinure, where Lorna (Ruth Wilson) was once shut away in a local convent, one of the notorious Catholic-run Magdalene Laundries where ‘fallen women’ were incarcerated and forced to work.
