SHE must have done something to her face, the rumourmongers said. She looks different. She probably had a facelift - she's creeping towards 50, after all.
But is there any truth to any of this? Not a jot.
Charlize Theron (48) has never been one to keep quiet when people say things she doesn't like or feels strongly about.
She always speaks her mind, telling people to leave her kids alone, instructing guys to man up and ask her out and effing and blinding when the situation calls for it.
And right now the situation has called for her to tell gossipers to put a sock in it about her looks.
"People are like, 'What did she do to her face?' I'm like, 'B***h, I'm just ageing!' It doesn't mean I got bad plastic surgery. This is just what happens," she tells Allure magazine in a new interview.
She has not and will not be changing her face, the Benoniborn actress stresses. "I love that it's changing and ageing.
Charlize wants to fight against what she perceives as "the unjust double standards" for actresses over 40 in Tinseltown. "I despise the concept that men age like fine wine while women age like cut flowers," she says.
