Grazia: Can you tell us about your daily skincare routine?
Sanjana Sanghi: I focus on keeping my daily skincare routine short, efficient, and accessible, mostly because my work is such that I end up living out of a suitcase and being on the go throughout the year. Cleansing, for me, is the most important – getting all the dirt, pollution, and make-up of the day out of my pores, and then I do some deep moisturising because I’m constantly in different climates, and it always feels great to give my make-up artist plump, refreshed skin when we start the work day.
G: If you had to pick three products that you’d never step out without, what would you pick and why?
SS: I’d pick my lip balm, perfume, and my phone.
G: One make-up look you can’t go wrong with?
SS: Applying no make-up at all. Even after becoming an actor, whenever I’m off duty, you’ll find me bare-faced, with a maximum oldschool line of kohl in my eyes, and I love that.
G: And is there a make-up look you wouldn’t dare to try?
SS: I’m not a fan of using dark colours on the lips, so you’ll probably never see me try that.
G: When it comes to hair care, what is the one rule you never break?
SS: Conditioning. The biggest discovery after becoming a busy actor has been the degree of damage that heating tools being used every day on our hair end up causing. Conditioning the bonds of the hair to try to mitigate the damage is key.
G: Face packs or sheet masks: What is your choice?
