Richa Khemka's Stunning Debut with Composite explored 'Piecing Together Art', Celebrating the Beauty of Mosaic Artwork in Fluid Silhouettes, at Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI Runway

Richa Khemka's debut collection at Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI had an unconventional ethereal inspiration. The "Piecing Together Art" line of clothing was just that - art that could be worn, when the rich textures and fabrics formed the base of the ensembles. It was a striking, dramatic, stylish concept that brought together the smaller elements and interwove them into a dreamlike beautiful garment. Richa's choice of fabrics obviously matched her signature style.

So, it was the rich glamour of organza, and silk taffeta that were in the forefront.

Complementing these fabrics, the embroidery had to be innovative techniques of various crafts.

"Composite is a culmination of different perspectives, dreams big and small, experiences and experimentations. A rebirth of ideas, of pieces that might not mean much on its own, but come together to form art.
