CORNFLOWERS used to be a familiar rural sight, though they are not so common now thanks to increased use of herbicides and more intensive farming methods.
They are a charming flower, adding natural beauty to the garden.
Although they have now been bred to flower in a range of colours, this week’s free seeds are for a variety called ‘Blue Ball’, that has the traditional blue petals.
