With Dr. Jayadeva there were as many projects going on as there were people he was personally helping to be as human as they are. His hand was always extended to raise anyone who would catch it and work at rising. He was extremely caring and detached, both at the same time.
Once he called me and said that he needed my help. One becomes all humble and willing when Dr. Jayadeva gives an opportunity to help him. He gave me a book written in Gujarati and asked, "You can read Gujarati?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Can you please read this and find out the meaning of Swadharma given in this book?" he continued, "But you have only two days."
I took the book and agreed to come back with an answer in two days. I walked out of the office thinking; I have to do it, my Guru has asked for my help. The good part of it was that I had read this particular book earlier. But it had been long since I had read a book in Gujarati. I opened the book and turned the pages to look at it and read something. I could read Gujarati even after so long!
