We like calling ourselves feminists, we are more sensitive towards women's rights and empowerment today than earlier. But, are we doing enough?
Considering women are not only a powerful cog in the wheel for societal development but also an important bridge that leads us there.
Are we conscious of opportunities for women to be that? And what about us women? Do we feel empowered enough to look after our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health apart from that of the family? If the answer is no, then yoga is the way and if the answer is yes, yoga can help us get better balanced.
At The Yoga Institute, we learn about the four pillars of holistic health i.e. Ahar (right kind of food), Achar (routines and discipline), Vihar (recreation), Vichar (thought patterns). I shall elaborate on the above per personal knowledge, practice and experiences.
Ahar - is right food per our health conditions and body type. At The Yoga Institute, we are suggested Sattvic food, devoid of onion and garlic, which is good for the body system and helps keep it healthier and the mind calmer.
Women need to be a little more responsible towards themselves and their family.
