EDIDA designer of the year RAVI VAZIRANI
Consistently pushing the envelope of design, Ravi Vazirani Design Studio weaves together craft, sustainability and a keen eye for detail. Ravi Vazirani is an entrepreneur, a self-taught designer and the brains behind many bespoke celebrity homes. More recently, the polymath has donned yet another feather in his cap with creating some stunning pieces of furniture and decor covetables. From the Lila collection for Ikai Asai, the plaster series, the paper mache series or the EDIDA-winning Sandcast table in 2021, among many others, his work speaks for the skill of Indian artisans and the atelier’s vision for the future of design in the country.

(UN)SCRIPTING THE YEAR OF #2025
The internet said so. This has likely been a favourite catchphrase of us digital nomads. In an era where our likes and opinions are informed by a fleeting feed of trends and our living dens battle the possibilities of facing repeated design templates, our curious compass led us to 11 creative magnates in India who question the very existence of ‘trends’. Is it even real? Skipping the theory of what’s next and recycling the same-old patterns, they flip the script in favour of unfiltered perspectives and their constant evolution as individuals. The result? 2025 could be the year of anti-trends. A year sans predictions. A year, much unrehearsed.
