AMEET MIRPURI
TRADITIONAL TONES
A true collaboration between a creatively inclined celebrity client and Ameet's keen design sensibilities, this luxurious 7,500sqft duplex is a mélange of traditional colours drenched in an unconventional showcase. Implementing a timeless look, Ameet experimented with new materials which are classy, yet impactful.
"Playing with layers, fabrics and textures is something I thoroughly enjoy. I also tend to not design two places similarly, as each client has their own character and it is imperative that the design reflects that," explained Ameet.
Bright blue, teal, greens, woody browns and red make an impactful introduction in the spaces, soaking in the country's traditional elements. "Art, as you can see, played a major role in the design as we collected many of the pieces during the execution. Also, we stayed away from anything that was too straight-lined," he concluded.
ARCHANA VAN GILS
BOHO CHIC
With a brief that called for a vibrant use of colours, Archana decided to go with fresh ideas that she hadn't explored before... the result ended in an eclectic mix, inspired by a Bohemian style of design. The 1,756sqft home is a unique blend of textures, contemporary colour pops and creative artworks that conjoin to effortlessly narrate the personalities of the colourfully characterised residents of the Gurugram home.
The design philosophy, here, merges a boho chic style with modern elements, bringing out eyecatchy spaces. Multiple accent pieces strategically placed in nooks add focus to the otherwise dull zones. Archana says, The colour palette in this home not only elevates the ambience but also instils brightness. One such example is the bright yellow right at the entrance. offering an unusual, but happy welcome.”
