Q WHAT IS THE BEST WAY FOR PEOPLE TO STRETCH THEIR TELECOMS BUDGET FURTHER? 

With today's higher cost of living, it's important to take advantage of opportunities to make savings wherever possible. Telecommunications is an area where many of us will have the ability to cut costs, given the tendency for people to set and forget once they've picked a phone or internet plan.

The performance of both internet and mobile services has improved this year, with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman's annual report showing that overall complaints are down 16.5% compared with the previous year.

There has been fewer complaints about service quality in particular. Clearly, this is great news for all of us, but it should also give people confidence that changing to another phone or internet provider shouldn't negatively impact performance.
