Goldman Sachs (GS US)
Personal Finance|November 2022
The Goldman Sachs Group (GS) is a global investment banking and securities firm specialising in investment banking, trading and principal investments, asset management and securities services. The company provides services to corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high-net worth individuals.
Goldman Sachs (GS US)

GS is a world leader in merger and acquisitions (M&A) advice as well as equities and debt underwriting. The long-term prospects of the group remain supported by its revenue scale, as well as its platform approach, which places it ahead of peers amid the prevailing shift towards digitisation in the industry.

Technically, the price is in an incomplete rising wedge pattern. A rising wedge comprises of higher highs and higher lows, where the highs and lows are respectively in-line and can be connected by trend lines. The expectation is for the price to progress to notation 5 to complete the rising wedge pattern.

The stock price recently crossed above its 200-day simple moving average, which classifies the long-term trend as bullish. Based on the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator, the share will be overbought at $400, which classifies our profit target of $380 as realistic. We suggest a low at-risk allocation for this trade.
