HONOURING AN ICON

THREE DECADES after his passing, Brazilian racing legend Ayrton Senna’s legacy in Formula 1 endures—a legend shaped by his relentless pursuit of excellence, daring style, and unrivalled speed on the track. Last November, Senna’s story reached a new generation with Netflix’s six-part series, Senna. The series explores his journey from Brazil’s karting circuits to F1’s highest echelons and revisits the highs and lows that made Senna a revered figure. To commemorate 30 years since his tragic passing at the San Marino Grand Prix in Italy, TAG Heuer, in collaboration with the Senna Brand, has unveiled a new limited-edition timepiece: the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna.

TAG Heuer’s relationship with Senna began in 1988, when the handsome racer became one of the brand’s ambassadors during an era that saw him clinch three World Championships and establish himself as one of F1’s greats. Since then, the watch company has repeatedly honoured his memory with exclusive releases, and the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, limited to just 500 pieces, continues this tradition by combining high-performance mechanics with details that evoke Senna’s spirit.
