FEAR OF GOD, the producer of the ubiquitous essentials series, has always been on a mission to re-envision the notion of modern American fashion, and this year is no exception. By summoning the help of lifestyle brand Birkenstock, the luxury streetwear label managed to take a monumental step in its journey putting forth a new footwear proposition that bridges the gap between contemporary and heritage. Developed exclusively with Birkenstock 1774, the German brand's special projects and collaborations unit, the footwear in the debut collaboration, the Los Feliz, marries Fear of God's inimitable, timeless design language with Birkenstock's orthopaedic craftsmanship.
