The ballroom at Goodwood Park Hotel was transformed to fit the theme of the night: “SINGALA IV: A Night in Old Shanghai”. The school’s community of board members, staff, parents, students, scholars and donors came together and helped the school reach its goal of $5 million from fundraising.
Guests were treated to an array of performances, including a showcase by the Elementary School Bilingual Programme students, musical performances by High School students, and a dynamic wushu display.
A highlight of the evening was hearing the poignant reflections of three past and present scholars on how the scholarship has profoundly impacted their lives.
