HER RECENT PODCAST CAUSES RIPPLES WITH THE ROYALS

Promoting her new podcast, Archetypes, which finally debuted last week, the Duchess of Sussex promised listeners she was going to show “the real me” and “talk unfiltered”.

As soon as Meghan Markle’s words hit the airwaves, the backlash was swift – especially from the upper echelons of Buckingham Palace.

 The former actress spent much of the 55-minute episode complaining to tennis ace Serena Williams about how royal life made her feel like female ambition was a dirty term.

Meghan, 41, also alleged she was expected to return to official duties just hours after finding out her son Archie, then 4 months, was almost caught in an electrical fire during her and Prince Harry's 2019 tour to South Africa.

Meghan's refusing to be "silenced" any longer on her podcast, which was 18 months in the making.

"The Queen and her family are, rightly, very frustrated by this narrative that the family stifled Meghan as a woman," says a source. "Nothing could be further from the truth. She was welcomed warmly and given all the support in the world before she decided she didn’t want it any more.

“Her Majesty wishes Meghan would just stop with this false narrative.”
