An iconic bag design steeped in history, the Lady Dior takes on new life for the maison's autumn-winter 2022-2023 ready-to-wear show in the form of the Lady 95.22. The original Lady Dior bag was created in 1995 by former Dior creative director Gianfranco Ferré, who named it the Chouchou. When the elegant purse was gifted to Princess Diana by former French First Lady Bernadette Chirac, the Chouchou quickly earned the new (and fitting) moniker. The beloved Princess of Wales became an avid admirer of the handbag model, which accompanied her through many public appearances.
