As always, this year’s Monaco Yacht Show advocated pure luxury and indulgence, showcasing 116 yachts of all sizes for sale and charter—including a staggering 80 debuts. With these vessels sporting an average length of 158 feet (48.17 metres), the 2024 edition pulled out all the stops, leaving no doubt why Monaco has a reputation for putting on the finest yacht show of them all. From eco-friendly concepts to majestic mega yachts, this year’s show exceeded all expectations. PRESTIGE was there to witness firsthand what’s hot and happening in the yachting sector—the work of visionary designers and boat builders who are pushing the boundaries of possibility. Here are some of the key highlights.
FEADSHIP
One of the most anticipated moments of the annual Monaco Yacht Show is the unveiling of Feadship’s latest concept design. This year, in honour of the 75th Diamond Anniversary of the brand, the Dutch boat builder’s Studio De Voogt presented its latest gem, C. The name is derived from the symbol for carbon on the periodic table— carbon being the basis of diamonds—and a little play on words ‘see’ and ‘sea’. Inspired by how a cut diamond’s patterns reflect and magnify light, C sparkles with innovations and dazzles with mesmerising angles. But more than just generating an unforgettable profile, these facets amid broad expanses of glass draw light deep into the yacht’s interior, turning the centre of circulation for owner and guests into a light-filled gallery and unprecedently fluid living space.
