The French maison highlights the signature aesthetic of the Perlée collection with two new quartz-movement timepieces graced with mother-of-pearl dials framed by diamonds. Inspired by pocket watches from 17th-century Europe, these creations take the form of a domed, colourful secret watch pendant on a long necklace. To check the time, the wearer rotates the bejewelled cover to reveal the dial. Seen here on this page, rubies bring out the tender tones of rose gold, while sapphires and emeralds complement the solar brilliance of yellow gold. On the opposite page, each iteration boasts an ornamental stone cabochon. Chalcedony, with its blue-grey to light-blue hues, is enhanced by the shine of white gold. Used for the first time in this collection, rose quartz is paired with rose gold, while translucent, violet-tinged blue sodalite mesmerises with its irregular light veins in the yellow gold setting.
