The spirit of Cartier’s impactful entrepreneurship began with its founder Louis‑François Cartier, who rose from a background of hardship. As a jeweller’s apprentice, his life took a significant turn when he took over his master’s workshop, sowing the seeds of what would blossom into a globally celebrated brand. This legacy of resilience and foresight was further advanced by his three grandsons, who cemented Cartier’s prestigious standing in the luxury world.
Today, this ethos of visionary leadership is exemplified in Cartier’s Red Club x Cartier initiative, which is part of the maison’s commitment to nurturing the next wave of socially conscious leaders. Established in 2019 as a global membership community of entrepreneurs aged 20 to 40, it fosters a vibrant ecosystem that encourages connection, empowerment and growth among emerging entrepreneurs.
Reflecting on the maison’s steadfast dedication to these values, Yanina Novitskaya, the CEO of Cartier Southeast Asia and Oceania, says: “If you look at our history, we’ve always been surrounded by entrepreneurial and progressive‑thinking people from different spheres such as business, the creative industries and science. It’s our DNA. [Our founder] recognised that if you create a platform for creative, consolidated and collective energy, you can do so much more.”
