Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), the agency spearheading renewable energy projects in the state, conducted extensive consultations with developers to address key challenges in the sector. These discussions underscored the critical importance of ensuring grid connectivity from the conceptual stage to project completion. Reforming the first-come, first-served approach to substation connectivity emerged as vital for improving ease of doing business for renewable energy stakeholders. This new approach reflects Gujarat's forward-thinking policies and its leadership in India's renewable energy revolution.
