The progress of each individual is the true progress of the state, that is now the motto of Chhattisgarh

The progress of each individual is regarded as the true progress of the state—a philosophy that drives the holistic development agenda of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai's government. This vision aims to uplift every part of the state, ensuring no one is left behind on the path of development.

Empowering Women: The Mahtari Vandan Yojana

To strengthen healthcare and economic self-reliance among women, the Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been a game-changer. The scheme provides a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,000 to women, enabling them to meet their daily needs, invest in small businesses, or save for the future. Beneficiaries like Sarita Nirmalkar from Durg, who works as a domestic help, and Vimala from Raipur, who invests her stipend in a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP), illustrate the transformative impact of this initiative.

With ₹1,000 crore disbursed under the programme, this initiative is fostering self-reliance among women at the grassroots level. Chief Minister Sai emphasises that strong families build strong villages, and strong villages create a resilient state and nation.

Revitalising the Rural Economy: The Krishak Unnati Yojana

The Krishak Unnati Yojana has been pivotal in boosting the rural economy. This scheme, coupled with paddy bonuses, ensures economic stability for farmers by: Procuring 21 quintals of rice per acre at a fixed price of ₹ 3,100 per quintal.

Disbursing pending paddy bonuses from the past two years, infusing much-needed funds into the rural economy.

These measures have rejuvenated agricultural activities and stimulated local markets, benefiting small and medium enterprises while creating job opportunities.
