KEV WON'T COME IN FOR MIKEY

The current Shrimpers was among the favourites to replace Mikey Morton, who was sacked on Monday night following the Minstermen's 3-1 home defeat to Rochdale, that left them winless

Back in July, York donated the proceeds from their pre-season friendlies against Doncaster Rovers and Middlesbrough to the Shrimpers' Trust hardship fund, raising over £12,000 to help pay staff at the crisis club.

But, in a statement on social media, Uggla insisted the new relationship between the clubs does not extend to making an approach to Maher for City's vacant managerial role.
