AFTER the agony of consecutive play-off final defeats, Paul Halsey reckons a summer shake-up at Ware FC is starting to pay off.
Halsey, well-acquainted with the hurdles of establishing stability and consistency at Step 4, has been steering his squad through a transitional phase since their heartbreaking playoff final loss to Didcot Town in May.
But despite the upheaval, the Blues have made a solid start to the season and find themselves well and truly back in the mix in Southern League Division One Centrala statistic which delights the Blues boss.
"This season we've had a lot of change and we're trying to get a football team together that's fairly new," Halsey said.
