Visiting defender Cole Kpekawa was given his marching orders by referee Gareth Rhodes after only 20 minutes for an off-the-ball incident which appeared to see him raise his arms towards Harriers striker Amari Morgan-Smith.
The incident saw newly-promoted Harriers dominate the remainder of the game without scoring, foiled only by a resolute Bromley side and, in particular, keeper Grant Smith, who pulled off a string of fine saves.
“He made some really good saves. I thought he looked experienced and calm when the muck and bullets were flying in and he earned us the point today,” said Bromley boss Andy Woodman with his side still without a win from their opening four games.
