The 30-year-old has upped sticks from the comfort of his Shropshire home and has headed to the Hampshire coast after signing a deal with ambitious National League side Eastleigh.
It might be a far cry from the northern lights illuminating his previous successes, but the Shrewsbury-born forward knows that distance has no barrier when it comes to chasing the dream.
“It’s the first time I’ve been down south – I did not realise how beautiful Hampshire was,” Quigley told The NLP.
“I’m a Shropshire boy but have lived up in the Lake District with Barrow, and seen some amazing places all over the UK with other clubs I have played for. This is one of them, I’m very excited to be here.”
Indeed, Quigley’s journey may have taken him to some UK’s most attractive locations, but it’s not just the scenic view which has plotted his career path over the last decade.
