Dr Prashant Vazirani, the doctor of Khyati Multispecialty Hospital who conducted the botched angioplasty that resulted in the death of two persons, was arrested on Thursday morning. He was subsequently presented in the court which remanded him to police custody for seven days.
The duo, who had been brought to the hospital along with 17 others from Borisana village of Kadi taluka in Mehsana after a free health camp by the hospital, had died on Monday.
