The investigation in the Khyati Hospital fraud case has now been transferred to the City Crime Branch. As per Ahmedabad City Police Chief GS Malik, the probe into Khyati Hospital is extensive and may involve other districts and cities and hence the case was transferred to the Crime Branch.
Three FIRs were filed against the hospital for allegedly performing angioplasty and angiography on 19 patients under the PMJAY scheme, two of whom died, following the procedure.
