As Amdavadis eagerly prepare their traditional attire for the nine nights of Garba starting October 3, women police officers are gearing up in a different way. They're not just donning festive dresses; they're also readying recording gadgets.

A high-ranking police official told Mirror that these discreet Garba revellers will keep a vigilant eye on miscreants and eve-teasers. They will be equipped with hidden cameras in hairpins, watches, and even bangles, along with audio recording devices.
