Are you forgetting quite often? A brisk walk, dance, or climbing a few flights of stairs may be key to boosting your memory, and the benefits may last for a day, finds a recent study.

Previous research has shown that people's cognitive performance improves in the hours after exercise, but how long this benefit lasts is unknown.

The new study, led by University College London (UCL) researchers showed that the more moderate to vigorous physical activity (which can increase heart rate) that people aged 50 to 83 do, the better memory they are likely to have the day after.
