Acting on a long pending decision pertaining to an alleged scam in 2018, the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) suspended former IT Department Head and current system analyst Keyur Shah.
The varsity's Board of Governors (BoG) during a meeting held last month sanctioned the suspension, but an official order of Shah's suspension was issued on Monday.
In 2018, a scam came to light in which marks of candidates appearing for the Course for Computer Concepts (CCC) by GTU were tampered with.
