India tame Aussies to set Border-Gavaskar Trophy on fire

The scenes at the WACA ground in Perth on the fourth day of the first Test Match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy were spectacular when Harshit Rana clean bowled Alex Carey to seal an emphatic 295 runs for Team India over the Australians.

A rare sight indeed to see a visiting team beating Australia in the very first match of the series and that too on the grassy swinging wicket at Perth.

Team India went into this game against the mighty Aussies under a lot of pressure after facing a whitewash beating at home by the Kiwis. The speculations around how would India fare and cope in this series on fast bouncy wickets against a formidable Australian team have been put to rest by a terrific all-round performance by both the batters and bowlers of Team India.
