Law courses hit a low, BSc finds few takers at GU colleges this year

Of the total 65,797 seats in all the under-graduate courses, 50,094 seats have been filled, leaving about 24% seats vacant

As the admission process for the academic year 2024 drew curtains at Gujarat University, Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Integrated Law emerged as subjects with maximum vacant seats. Only 899 or 27.34% seats found takers from the 3,288 seats in the integrated law, while 2,804 or 33.74% seats from the 8,313 BSc seats were filled at the Gujarat University affiliated colleges, revealed the official statistics shared by the GU for the admission ending on August 31.
