The state government has simplified the process of allotting land to industrial estates, making it more efficient and transparent. Government wasteland will now be allocated to the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) under three categories, as classified by the Department of Industries and Mines.
The decision, taken during the Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, aims to streamline land allocation and boost industrial growth.
