Children Dying Malnutrition Of As 'All Of Gaza' Is Hit By Famine

Gaza officials have said 33 youngsters have died, most in northern areas which until recently faced the brunt of the military campaign launched after the October 7 Hamas terror attack in Israel.

But now independent human-rights specialists mandated by the UN have cited the recent deaths from malnutrition of three children aged 13, nine and six months old in Khan Younis in the south and the central area of Deir Al-Balah since the end of May.

The group said yesterday: "With the deaths of these children from starvation despite medical treatment in central Gaza, there is no doubt that famine has spread from northern Gaza into central and southern Gaza."
