AN autistic private school pupil took her life after telling a friend she would rather kill herself than go to detention, an inquest heard.
Caitlyn Scott-Lee was discovered in secluded grounds of £44,000-a-year Wycombe Abbey after receiving her first detention. Alcohol had been found in the 16-year-old's locker.
Staff searched for Caitlyn when she failed to return for a 9.30pm curfew at the Buckinghamshire boarding school in April last year.
