FARAGE WARNS: BRITAIN IS AT 'OUITE PERILOUS POINT'

The Reform UK leader condemned the widespread violence of the last week.

But the Clacton MP claimed the Prime Minister does not understand a "general feeling of dissatisfaction" about immigration, as he doubled down on accusations of "two-tier policing".

The arch-Brexiteer declared in an eight-minute video on X: "He needs to start listening to the people and the vast majority of people are decent, are law abiding, support British values, believe that this is a great country as I do, but are fearful, fearful for the future, the integrity of family, community and nation.

"And I really believe we're at quite a perilous point. If we allow all of those things that we've built, defended over centuries, if we allow all of those things to come under threat, then we are in very, very big trouble."

He made his claims as Sir Keir called another meeting of the Government's emergency response committee Cobra - the second in two days - after a weekend where rioters stormed and set fire to hotels housing asylum seekers.

Police were attacked, vehicles were torched and shops looted as mobs rampaged through towns including Plymouth, Belfast, Liverpool and Hull.

Thousands more riot officers have been put on standby amid warnings that far-Right thugs are planning to target more than 30 immigration centres today. Advice hubs and lawyers' offices were also reported to be in the firing line.
