ROD Stewart has declared "I love what I do" and will not consider retirement, after being chosen to play Glastonbury's coveted legends slot.
Rod, 79, previously headlined the popular music festival in Somerset back in 2002, performing on Sunday night and concluding the festival.
Yesterday Glastonbury festival organiser Emily Eavis wrote Instagram: "Bringing Sir Rod Stewart back for the Sunday afternoon slot on the Pyramid stage next year is everything we could wish for.
