Goldcar achieved a score of 52% in the annual report by consumer watchdog Which?.
It was awarded just two stars out of five for value, car details versus reality, record of damage and customer service.

One in five of those polled who used Goldcar - which operates in countries including Spain, Portugal, France and the US said they had issues with the vehicle's condition.
And 23% charged extra reported being when they picked up or returned the car.
