Police were last night hunting the assailant, who also injured a second teenager and a teacher after throwing the liquid yards from the gates of Westminster Academy in Paddington, West London, on Monday afternoon.
Splashed
The suspect is described as a "tall, slim, black male" who was wearing dark clothing with his face hidden by a mask or balaclava.
He raced towards his victims on the e-scooter, carrying a container of "acid-like" liquid before speeding off.
It is understood much of the substance splashed on to the girl's face, causing her extensive burns, while also hitting a 16-year-old boy she was walking beside.
