ONE young race fan with cerebral palsy got the day off from school to see his favourite jockey and trainer on day three at Cheltenham yesterday.
Paddy Brennan bonded with Kian Burley, 13, after giving him racing goggles in 2015.
The boy has since visited the jockey and his trainer Fergal O'Brien at their Gloucestershire stables. Kian, from Doncaster, South Yorks, said: "Any day at Cheltenham is great and The Jockey Club really looked after me and my family to give us a wonderful experience."
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice's husband wore a Peaky Blinders-style hat as he roared on the horses.
The princess, 35, joined spouse Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 40, and Zara and Mike Tindall. Princess Anne was also in the crowd.
Beatrice said: "It's such a great environment, everyone is having so much fun. What else can you ask for from a great day's racing?"
