Labour will take us back to 70s, warns Good Sense minister

Common Sense Minister Esther McVey hit out at the “socialist madness” of councils and civil servants demanding to work fewer hours for the same pay.

She warned that victory for Sir Keir at the general election would lead to the “Withdrawal of Labour” Party running the country.

Writing for the Daily Express, Ms McVey said: “Mark my words, the trade unions are calling the shots over Labour. Since 2010 they have funded the Labour Party to the tune of £134million and the Labour leader Keir Starmer has personally accepted £81,000 since January 2020.
