LAST LAP? THAT'S CLAP TRAP

ERIK TEN HAG is adamant Manchester United's final home game of the season tonight will not be his swansong at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag is facing an uncertain future after a dismal second season.

United host Newcastle tonight, where a 15th Premier League defeat of the campaign will leave them needing to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final to reach Europe.

Against that backdrop, Ten Hag is facing the sack, with England head coach Gareth Southgate and outgoing Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel among the favourites to replace him.

Ten Hag confirmed United will still perform a lap of honour at the final whistle to show their appreciation to the fans.

But while some United players, including Raphael Varane Varane and Anthony Martial will be saying their goodbyes, Ten Hag does not see himself doing the same.
