Luke D'Wit, 34, was jailed for life with a minimum of 37 years after using the opioid painkiller to murder his employers Stephen and Carol Baxter at their £1million home.
He had befriended the couple for nine years after he built a website for their shower mat firm before poisoning them on Easter Sunday last year.
Now detectives are probing whether D'Wit was responsible for the death of his cancer-stricken father Vernon, who had been prescribed Fentanyl before he was found dead at his home in 2021. Detectives are also re-examining how D'Wit's grandfather died.
