British explorer Sir David Hempleman-Adams will be joined by American balloon manufacturer Bert Padelt, 62, and Swiss scientist Dr Frederik Paulsen, 72. The trip, in the Torabhaig Atlantic Explorer Balloon, has twice been cancelled due to bad weather but it is hoped it will get underway in the coming weeks.
